These Terms & Conditions apply to services supplied by Clear Jet (“Clear Jet”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accepting a quote, booking a service or instructing Clear Jet to commence work, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are based on the information available to Clear Jet at the time of quoting, including the condition, size and accessibility of the area to be cleaned.
If additional work, unexpected conditions or requirements become apparent after work begins, we will discuss these with you before undertaking additional chargeable work where reasonably practicable.
Unless otherwise stated, quotes are valid for 30 days.
2. Access to the Property
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to all areas included in the agreed work.
Where required, customers should ensure gates are unlocked and vehicles, furniture, pot plants and other movable objects are removed from the work area before our arrival.
Delays or additional work caused by restricted access may result in additional charges where these have been communicated and agreed.
3. Water & Electricity
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer agrees to provide reasonable access to suitable water and electricity supplies where required to complete the service.
Clear Jet may also use specialist equipment, water recovery systems or alternative water arrangements depending on the requirements of the job.
4. Surface Condition & Existing Damage
Pressure cleaning, soft washing and exterior cleaning can reveal pre-existing damage, deterioration, staining, discolouration or defects that were previously concealed by dirt, mould or other contaminants.
This may include loose paint, deteriorated mortar, cracked surfaces, damaged render, loose pavers, failed sealers, oxidised coatings, damaged grout or ageing building materials.
Clear Jet is not responsible for pre-existing defects or deterioration that become visible during or after cleaning.
We will use reasonable care and select cleaning methods appropriate to the surface being treated.
5. Stain Removal & Results
While we aim to achieve the best possible result, some stains, discolouration, graffiti, efflorescence, oil, rust, organic growth or other contaminants may not be completely removable.
The final result can depend on the age and condition of the surface, the contaminant involved, previous treatments and how deeply staining has penetrated.
Unless specifically agreed in writing, Clear Jet does not guarantee complete removal of every stain or mark.
6. Soft Washing & Cleaning Treatments
Certain surfaces may require cleaning solutions or treatments in addition to water pressure.
Clear Jet will select cleaning methods and products considered appropriate for the surface and conditions encountered.
Customers should advise us before work begins of any particularly sensitive surfaces, plants, materials, water systems or other areas requiring special consideration.
7. Customer Preparation
Before work begins, customers should close doors and windows and remove or secure fragile, valuable or water-sensitive items from the cleaning area.
Clear Jet should be informed of known leaks, electrical hazards, damaged surfaces or other conditions that could affect the safe completion of the work.
8. Weather
Exterior cleaning is weather dependent.
Clear Jet may postpone or reschedule work where rain, wind, extreme temperatures, storms or other conditions could affect safety, cleaning performance or the quality of the finished work.
Where this occurs, we will arrange another suitable time with the customer.
9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change and ask customers to provide as much notice as reasonably possible when cancelling or rescheduling a booking.
Where Clear Jet has incurred reasonable costs specifically associated with a late cancellation, these may be charged where permitted by law and where the customer has been advised of the applicable cancellation terms.
10. Payment
Payment terms will be specified on the relevant quote or invoice.
Unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing, payment is due in accordance with those stated terms.
Commercial customers may be subject to separate approved account terms.
11. Photos & Marketing
Clear Jet may photograph work before, during and after completion for job records, quality assurance and marketing purposes.
We will take reasonable steps not to publish identifying personal information without permission.
If you do not want photographs of your property used for marketing purposes, please advise us before work begins.
12. Commercial, Strata & Construction Work
Commercial, strata, government, school and construction projects may be subject to additional site-specific requirements, inductions, documentation, purchase orders, access conditions or contractual terms.
Where separate written terms have been agreed for a particular project, those terms will apply to the extent of any inconsistency.
13. Damage & Concerns
If you believe damage has occurred as a direct result of our work or you are dissatisfied with the service provided, please contact Clear Jet as soon as reasonably possible.
We ask that you provide photographs and relevant details so we can investigate the matter and, where appropriate, arrange an inspection or reasonable remedy.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Where statutory consumer guarantees apply, customers retain all rights and remedies available to them under Australian law.
15. Website Information
Information provided on the Clear Jet website is general in nature and may be updated from time to time.
Images, examples and descriptions of previous cleaning work are illustrative. Results may vary depending on the property, surface condition and type of contamination.
16. Privacy
Personal information supplied through our website, enquiry forms, telephone enquiries, quotes or bookings will be handled for purposes associated with responding to enquiries, providing services and administering our customer relationships.

17. Changes to These Terms
Clear Jet may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to a particular service will generally be those provided or available when the customer accepts the relevant quote or booking.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
