The method for the surface
Plain, exposed aggregate and stamped concrete
Plain broom-finished concrete can take a firmer clean. Exposed aggregate and stamped or coloured concrete get more care, with the pressure and working distance set so the stones and the finish are looked after.
Where oil and grease are the problem, hot water is used where it helps. A surface cleaner gives an even finish on open areas, and edges, joints and corners are done by hand.

Oil drips under the car, tyre marks on the carport or garage floor and rust marks from pots or furniture are treated as part of the clean. We lift what the surface allows. How much comes out depends on the stain and how long it has been there, and we tell you what to expect before we start.

Will an oil or rust stain come out completely?
Not always. We treat the stain and lift as much as the surface allows. Fresh marks often respond well, while oil or rust that has soaked deep into the concrete can leave a shadow. We tell you what to expect after seeing it.
Is exposed aggregate or stamped concrete cleaned differently?
Yes. These finishes are cleaned with more care than plain concrete, with the pressure and working distance set for the surface so the stones and coloured finish are looked after.
Can the concrete be sealed after cleaning?
Yes, sealing can be discussed once the surface is clean and we have looked at it. See our concrete sealing page for more on that service.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
Not always. If access, water supply and the agreed work area are confirmed beforehand, we can discuss completing the job while you are away.
